Today, protective equipment like face masks and hand sanitizers are necessities for daily living. A thermometer in particular is the most crucial item currently available that can monitor invisible and possible threats to safeguard you and your loved ones from harm.
The medical profession is the most affected profession since the COVID-19 pandemic as they have to deal with many patients in their day-to-day life. They are exposed to several viruses as they selflessly treat patients without knowing their temperature levels. An ideal way for doctors to know the temperature is by using a thermometer, but the current thermometers in the market make it a tiring task to carry around. It is high time thermometers were designed and manufactured as an essential product for doctors, just like a stethoscope is designed for ease of use.
Although the self-testing culture is spreading, there are very few products that are designed to meet the deepest desires of common users (non-medical users). The pandemic has shown us that people are extensively using pulse-oximeters and thermometers at home, which were previously used only in clinics. There is an opportunity to design the product to meet the deepest desires of users by meeting their aesthetic needs and usability needs.
